The CSHSB represented by the Supreme Secondary Learners Government Officers has once again demonstrated its commitment to community service by partnering with the Rotaract Clubs of District 3820 for Pagdaong Sorsogon 2025, a two-day outreach program held in Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon last March 15-16, 2025. This initiative aimed to bring impactful change to the local community through various service-driven projects.

Selected students from the Computer Science High School of Bicolandia (CSHSB), along with distinguished alumni Jennelyn Casaul and Clark Casyao, actively took part in this meaningful endeavor. Their participation highlighted the unwavering spirit of volunteerism and leadership that the Comsayanos community continuously upholds.

The event was filled with activities that addressed pressing social and environmental concerns. Pagdaong Sorsogon successfully implemented seven (7) magical projects, each focusing on a key area of development:

1. Environmental Awareness Campaigns – Participants led tree-planting activities and coastal cleanups to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility among the locals.

2. Hygiene & Wellness Initiatives – Volunteers distributed hygiene kits, conducted health awareness discussions, and encouraged proper sanitation practices to improve the well-being of the community.

3. Education Support Programs – The initiative provided school supplies and conducted interactive learning sessions, reinforcing the importance of education among children in the area.

4. Nutrition Programs – A feeding activity was organized to address malnutrition and promote healthy eating habits, ensuring that children received nutritious meals.

5. Cultural Activities – The team engaged the local youth in traditional games, storytelling sessions, and performances that celebrated the rich heritage and culture of Sorsogon.

6. Water Conservation Efforts – Awareness talks on water conservation and proper water usage were conducted to help the community sustain their natural water resources.

7. Community Upliftment Projects – Beyond material aid, volunteers extended emotional and social support to families, fostering a sense of unity and resilience among the locals.

Through these initiatives, Pagdaong Sorsogon 2025 not only made a lasting impact on the residents but also provided an enriching experience for the volunteers, deepening their understanding of community service and social responsibility.
